Dry Creek Valley is located in Northern Sonoma County near the town of Healdsburg, about sixty miles north of San Francisco. Dry Creek Valley has many micro-climates from the warmer Lake Sonoma Region in the north, to the cooler sections in the south, which border the Russian River Valley.
The majority of the grapes planted are Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The first vineyard was planted in 1870, now there are over 6000 acres of vines and over 40 wineries.
